This book is a brief summary of many of the fun photos I’ve shot in the past, a few tips as far as shooting and editing for many of the photos, as well as what gear I used. This book gives some great examples of how inexpensive gear can produce high-quality photos, as well as showcasing the importance of renting lenses. Many of the photos in the book are available for purchase on my Wall Photos page, as well as available for desktop wallpaper on InterfaceLIFT.com.
The sections of my book include:
People: This section includes kids and adults alike, wedding photos, portrait sessions and candids.
Sports: Action photos from surfing to soccer and beyond.
Animals: From pets to giant-sized beasts.
Details: Supporting shots at a wedding, as well as details in nature and the surrounds that are not to be missed.
Landscape: Nature landscapes as well as cityscapes, this section will interest the travel enthusiast. Many of the photos are HDR and some are panoramic.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Rollerblading event today in Blainville, Quebec! I had a great time and it seems everyone else did too! Montreal is a beautiful city and the surrounding area offers so much in the way of athletics and sports. Here are a few photos from the event today, and if you click on the link below, you’ll be taken to my Zenfolio page with all the photos there in chronological order. Thanks for checking it out!
It seems that just about every day, especially on weekends, there is SOMETHING sports-related or artistic going on in Montreal. As my girlfriend and I headed downtown for some clothes shopping, we saw all these bicyclists in the street. So here’s a few fun ones!
My girlfriend and some of her coworkers decided to participate in a 10km run from Place Jacques Cartier in Old Montreal across the bridge to Longueuil! I was fortunate enough to, in a rather impromptu fashion, hop in one of the support vehicles and shoot hanging out the door. It was a lot of fun and everyone did so well! ENJOY!
“We… Are…. SPARTA!!!”
Well… THEY are Sparta, or “Spartan Racers” actually. It’s an extreme running event that includes obstacles such as the Blood Bath, Raft, Fire Jump, Rope Climbing, Camel Crawl, and several more! I was contacted for the day by a company called Nuvision who was the official photography company for the race. They placed several photographers out in the different obstacles of the event, and I was lucky enough to get the Camel Crawl. This is where you have to jump into a murky water/mud pit past your knees and then crawl under barbed wire through mud, water and sticks…
If you’re interested in future Spartan Race events, perhaps in your area, visit their website HERE!

When traveling, what are things you look for? Beauty and adventure? Warm, genuine people? Lots to do but without having to plan a month to do it all? Someplace exotic yet still close to home? These all describe Hawaii perfectly, and I was fortunate enough to live there for several years, and even met my girlfriend there! After six months in the south of France, I returned to Hawaii for a couple of weeks for a working vacation. By work, I mean taking surfing photos of the toursits that came to Waikiki beach to learn to surf while in Hawaii. Here’s an example of one of these fellows now:
